Last Sunday was a day of joy and celebration as we witnessed eight members of our church publicly declare their faith through baptism. Baptism Sunday is always a special occasion, symbolizing new life in Christ and the start of a deeper walk with Him.
The service began with a powerful message from Pastor Sarah on Romans 6:4:
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
The congregation gathered by the river after the service, singing hymns and praying as each individual was baptized. Among them was John, a young father who shared:
“Today marks a new chapter for me and my family. I am excited to grow in my faith and live as a follower of Jesus.”
We thank God for the lives transformed and the steps of faith taken. Let us continue to encourage and support these new believers as they walk their journey with Christ.
