Spring Cleanup Day: Caring for God’s House and Earth

On Saturday, members of our church came together for our annual Spring Cleanup Day, a time to care for both our church grounds and the local community. With gloves on and hearts ready to serve, volunteers spent the day cleaning, planting, and making God’s house and creation shine.

On Saturday, members of our church came together for our annual Spring Cleanup Day, a time to care for both our church grounds and the local community. With gloves on and hearts ready to serve, volunteers spent the day cleaning, planting, and making God’s house and creation shine.

Inspired by Genesis 2:15:
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”

Activities included:

  • Landscaping: Planting flowers and shrubs to beautify the church garden.
  • Cleaning: Tidying up the sanctuary and fellowship hall to create a welcoming space for all.
  • Community Outreach: Collecting litter from nearby streets and parks to show God’s love in action.

It was a day of hard work, laughter, and fellowship. Sarah, a long-time church member, shared:
“Working alongside my church family reminds me how much we can accomplish when we come together for God’s glory.”

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success. Together, we are not only taking care of God’s creation but also building a stronger, more connected community.
