Community Outreach Program: Sharing God’s Love in Action

Last Saturday, our church came together to serve the community through our Outreach Program, providing meals, care packages, and hope to those in need. With over 150 meals served and countless smiles shared, it was a day of living out God’s love in action. Discover how your contributions are making a difference!

This past Saturday, members of Cornerstone came together for a heartwarming day of service as part of our ongoing Community Outreach Program. Volunteers gathered at the local shelter to provide meals, distribute care packages, and share the message of God’s love with those in need.

Through your generous donations, we were able to serve over 150 meals and provide warm clothing and hygiene kits to families and individuals facing challenging times. The smiles and gratitude from those we helped reminded us of the profound impact that small acts of kindness can have.

One of the shelter residents, Sarah, shared her heartfelt thanks:
“I’ve felt so alone these past months, but today, I felt seen and cared for. Thank you for bringing hope back into my life.”

We are deeply grateful to all the volunteers who contributed their time and energy to make this event a success. As Matthew 25:40 reminds us:
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Stay tuned for more opportunities to serve in the new year as we continue to live out our mission of faith in action.
